Verification & Validation Standards
Apna Sahiwal maintains a database of thousands of local listings. To guarantee reliability, we enforce strict verification standards:
Verification Methods
- Phone & OTP verification: Claimed listings must pass automated OTP verification via registered Pakistani phone networks or WhatsApp templates.
- Document check: Standard business claim requests require uploading local business documentation, trade certificates, or electricity bills indicating addresses.
- Community voting: Every listing detail features user check widgets asking citizens if the listing details (e.g. phone, map, hours) are correct.
- Automatic flagging: If 10 or more users flag a business as "Incorrect Information," the verified badge is revoked automatically, and the owner is notified.
Dispute Management
In case of ownership conflicts, claimants must submit dispute forms along with government identification and authorization letters. Our administration team processes claims objectively.
